Yahoo! Messenger 7.0 Beta

So tonight at 9:00pm Pacific time (2005-05-18 04:00 GMT I believe), we launched the public beta of a major upgrade to Yahoo! Messenger! This is version 7.0 which adds a bunch of new features over the existing 6.0 client, including PC-to-PC calling, really cool photo sharing, and better integration with the new Yahoo! 360° service. I had planned to write a longer, more clever introduction to the new software, but have spent the entire evening finding and fixing problems ahead of the launch.
