This past weekend I took a mini Nascar vacation, travelling to Bristol Tennessee to watch the Sharpie 250 (Busch series) and Food City 500 (Nextel Cup series) stock car races. I've only seen Nascar in person at Sears Point (now Infineon Raceway) which is a road course. Seeing it on a short-track oval with such a huge crowd (over 160,000) was quite an event. Bristol is always rated as a top fan favorite and now I see why.
