Champ Car this week announced that the annual race through the streets of downtown San José is no more. Instead, the series will return to Laguna Seca, so true racing fans should be excited. San José was always of split minds when it came to the three races run so far. The city subsidies combined with some questionable data provided by the race organizers seemed to doom the long term success of this particular race. SpeedTV.com has more details.
