It looks like California is starting to take pre-registrations for the national "Do Not Call" program. I signed up my home number because we get tons of soliciations by phone -- especially in the evening. It does seem kind of odd, though. Kind of like those "click here to stop receiving e-mail" you see at the end of spam messages. Good thing we can trust the government. (Insert sarcastic comment here.)
